Introduction

Department of zoology in Siddheswari University college was established in 2017. Honor’s course was started from that time. From the beginning of this department the results of the students are praiseworthy which has been possible only by the hard labour, sincerity and well communication between the teachers and the students. The department is following its glorious performance continuously. Students are graduating on zoology from this department. It is located in the 2nd floor of the main building. Room number is 208. In this Department we have very competent and experienced teachers. A seminar library is available in this department. It contains reasonable books, Journals, project reports etc. The department has a big lab in the 3rd floor where we have a large number of Museum animal specimens representing all major phyla and common local species, embryological and histological slides, animal skeletons, models etc. According to the curriculum department do local excursion, study tour, specimens collections in the different areas of the country with biological interest. In case of extra curriculum activities we have indoor games, outdoor games, Cultural programs etc.
